This 30-minute beef stir-fry is quick, flavorful, and ideal for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Toss beef with cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
  2. Heat sesame oil and vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Stir-fry beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add onion and bell peppers; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli and snap peas; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  7. Return beef to the pan.
  8. Add remaining soy sauce.
  9. Stir-fry until heated through.
  10. Serve over rice.
