Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for crust)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash bananas.
  3. Mix butter and brown sugar.
  4. Add egg and vanilla.
  5. Combine dry ingredients.
  6. Mix wet and dry ingredients.
  7. Pour batter into a loaf pan.
  8. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
