Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pound the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or wax paper to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- Season the Chicken: Generously season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter or olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Cook the Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a cutting board and use two forks to shred the meat into bite-sized pieces.
