Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
  9. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
