Delicious and easy cherry pie bars.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into a baking pan.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the crust.
- Combine oats, brown sugar, and flour.
- Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over the filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool completely before cutting.
Notes
- You can use different pie fillings.
- For a vegan version, use vegan butter.
