Description
Delicious chocolate chip cookies made without brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar (or substitute with more granulated sugar)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together butter and sugars.
- Beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Gradually add dry ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheets.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, underbake slightly.
- Use a cookie scoop for uniform size.
- Store in an airtight container.
