Description
A moist and flavorful cinnamon apple bread packed with fresh apples and a sweet cinnamon swirl.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just blended. Fold in diced apples.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and swirl with a knife.
- Add the remaining batter and repeat the cinnamon swirl.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for best texture.
- For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk.
