Ingredients
- 2 pounds jalapeños, sliced
- 3 cups white sugar
- 2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños.
- Slice jalapeños into ¼-inch thick rounds.
- Combine sugar, vinegar, water, turmeric, and celery seed in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add jalapeños and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until softened.
- Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving ½-inch headspace.
- Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

- Adjust the amount of jalapeños to your spice preference.
- For a less spicy version, remove seeds and membranes.
