  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for greasing
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until pale and thick.
  3. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the dry ingredients.
  5. Drizzle in the melted butter, mixing until just combined.
  6. Refrigerate the batter for at least 30 minutes.

  8. Fill each mold about 2/3 full.
