This Cowboy Candy Chicken Glaze is a sweet and spicy sauce. It’s perfect for chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine sugar, vinegar, and water in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Whisk cornstarch with a little water.
- Add cornstarch mixture, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Use as a glaze for chicken.
