Ingredients
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sparkling sugar (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, granulated sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of the cream cheese and cranberry mixture evenly over each triangle, leaving a small border.
- Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to the point.
- Place the rolled bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the crescent bites with the beaten egg wash.
- Sprinkle with sparkling sugar, if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use homemade cranberry sauce if preferred.
- For a less sweet filling, reduce the amount of granulated sugar.
