These Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites are a simple and delicious appetizer perfect for fall gatherings and holidays. They combine tart cranberries with creamy cream cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sparkling sugar (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, granulated sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of the cream cheese and cranberry mixture evenly over each triangle, leaving a small border.
  5. Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to the point.
  6. Place the rolled bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the crescent bites with the beaten egg wash.
  8. Sprinkle with sparkling sugar, if desired.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use homemade cranberry sauce if preferred.
  • For a less sweet filling, reduce the amount of granulated sugar.
