Description
A succulent turkey breast coated in a sweet and tangy cranberry-orange glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 (3-4 pound) boneless turkey breast
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in orange zest.
- Melt butter in a small bowl. Season turkey breast with salt and pepper.
- Place turkey breast in a roasting pan. Brush generously with the cranberry-orange glaze.
- Roast for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste with glaze every 20 minutes.
- Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the glaze for extra warmth.
- If the glaze becomes too thick, add a tablespoon of water or orange juice.
