Description

A succulent turkey breast coated in a sweet and tangy cranberry-orange glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 pound) boneless turkey breast
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in orange zest.
  4. Melt butter in a small bowl. Season turkey breast with salt and pepper.
  5. Place turkey breast in a roasting pan. Brush generously with the cranberry-orange glaze.
  6. Roast for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste with glaze every 20 minutes.
  7. Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the glaze for extra warmth.
  • If the glaze becomes too thick, add a tablespoon of water or orange juice.
