Description
A delicious and healthy Creamy Dijon Chicken & Brown Rice Bowl.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast: 6 oz
- Brown rice: 1 cup cooked
- Dijon mustard: 2 tbsp
- Heavy cream: 1/4 cup
- Olive oil: 1 tbsp
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Broccoli florets: 1 cup
Instructions
- Cook brown rice according to package directions.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook chicken until done. Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic.
- Whisk in Dijon mustard and heavy cream. Simmer.
- Add cooked chicken to the sauce.
- Steam broccoli.
- Assemble the bowl: rice, chicken and sauce, broccoli.
Notes
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- You can add other vegetables.
