Description
A simple and delicious creamy ranch chicken recipe made in the crock pot.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour mixture over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred chicken and return to the crock pot.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crock pot during the last 30 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
