Description
This creamy Tuscan shrimp skillet is a quick and easy one-pan dinner. It’s packed with flavor and ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and heat through.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your liking.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer for a few more minutes.
