Easy one-pot Crockpot Chicken & Green Beans. Simple ingredients, minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: Italian seasoning to taste


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, green beans.
  3. Pour in chicken broth.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Shred chicken with two forks.
  7. Stir everything together.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust seasonings to your preference.
  • You can add potatoes or carrots.
  • For thicker sauce, mix a little cornstarch with water and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
