Easy one-pot Crockpot Chicken & Green Beans. Simple ingredients, minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, green beans.
- Pour in chicken broth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred chicken with two forks.
- Stir everything together.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- You can add potatoes or carrots.
- For thicker sauce, mix a little cornstarch with water and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
