Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer chicken to the crockpot. Add minced garlic, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
  4. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the crockpot.
  6. Add pasta and parmesan cheese. Stir well.
  7. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until pasta is tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
