Description

Cucumber Tomato Salad is a 5-star favorite—fresh, crisp & full of flavor. A light and happy dish that brightens any plate in minutes!

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Fresh Herbs (Basil, Parsley, Dill)
  • Olive Oil
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing and drying the cucumbers, tomatoes, and any other fresh produce you’ll be using. Peel and dice the onions, if using. Chop the fresh herbs and set them aside.
  • Slice the Cucumbers: Cut the cucumbers into thin, even slices or half-moons, depending on your preference. Be sure to slice them on the diagonal for a more visually appealing presentation.
  • Dice the Tomatoes: Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, making sure to remove any excess seeds or juice to prevent the salad from becoming watery.
  • Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the sliced cucumbers, diced tomatoes, and diced onions (if using). Sprinkle the fresh herbs over the top.
  • Dress the Salad: Prepare a simple vinaigrette by whisking together olive oil, white wine vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients.
  • Chill and Serve: Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. When ready to serve, give the salad a gentle toss and enjoy its refreshing and flavorful goodness.
