Description
Easy Dump and Go Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken.
Ingredients
- Chicken Breasts: 1.5 lbs
- Teriyaki Sauce: 1 cup
- Soy Sauce: 1/4 cup
- Brown Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon, minced
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Water: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- (Optional) Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add to the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
- Add vegetables like broccoli or carrots in the last hour of cooking.
- For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
