A simple and delicious pumpkin pie with a homemade crust, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sweetened condensed milk.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves.
- If you don’t have sweetened condensed milk, you can use evaporated milk and add 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
