Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Unroll the pie crusts and press them into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  6. Pour the pecan filling evenly over the pie crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
