Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Begin by pounding the chicken breasts or thighs to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Create the Breading Station: In one shallow bowl, beat a few eggs. In a separate bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix these ingredients until well combined.
  • Bread the Chicken: Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides thoroughly. Gently shake off any excess breading.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a generous amount of olive oil or vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
