Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground gingerbread spice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup gingerbread cookie crumbs (about 25-30 cookies, finely crushed)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
- Optional: Red and green sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in the gingerbread spice, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
- Add the gingerbread cookie crumbs and mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate chips according to package directions.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, immediately sprinkle with red and green sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate coating is firm.
Notes
- For best results, use finely crushed gingerbread cookies.
- Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.
- Chill the truffle balls sufficiently to make dipping easier.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
