Spooky and delicious nachos perfect for your Halloween party. These Halloween Nachos are easy to make and a crowd-pleaser for all ages.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Sour cream, for topping
- Salsa, for topping
- Guacamole, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture over the chips.
- Sprinkle the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the beef.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with black olives, green onions, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on the side.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with black beans or seasoned lentils.
- Add some jalapeño slices for a spicy kick.
