Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
