Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup apple cider
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Heat apple cider in a saucepan until reduced by half.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Roll dough and cut into donut shapes.
- Fry donuts until golden brown.
- Toss warm donuts in cinnamon sugar.
