Ingredients
- 3 apples, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup honey
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter, honey, and eggs until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
- Fold in sliced apples.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use tart apples like Granny Smith for best results.
- Drizzle extra honey on top for added sweetness.
