Description

Honey BBQ Crockpot Meatballs are sweet, smoky & tender. Just 3 hours in the slow cooker for the easiest, crowd-pleasing appetizer ever!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into evenly sized 1-inch meatballs and place them in a slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey and barbecue sauce. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer the Honey BBQ Crockpot Meatballs to a serving dish. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the top and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
