Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe that’s sweet, garlicky, and done fast! Make this 15-minute dish tonight and wow your family!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cover and let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and any remaining marinade to the pan.
  • Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough and rubbery.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a serving plate. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the pan over the shrimp.
  • Garnish the Honey Garlic Shrimp with chopped green onions and serve immediately, alongside your choice of sides like rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
