Description

A rich and decadent hot cocoa fudge with a creamy marshmallow swirl. This easy recipe is perfect for holidays or any time you crave a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)


Instructions

  1. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  7. Fold in marshmallow creme until combined.
  8. If using, stir in nuts.
  9. Pour fudge into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  10. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a smoother fudge, you can melt the chocolate chips separately and stir them in.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature.
