Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup steamed or stir-fried vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers)
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and coats the beef.
- Serve the Korean ground beef over cooked rice.
- Top with your choice of steamed or stir-fried vegetables.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
