- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the finely chopped walnuts and maple syrup.
- Shape the dough into a log about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice the dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- Place the rounds on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
