Ingredients

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Feta cheese
  • Parsley
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Olive oil
  • Red wine vinegar


Instructions

  • Prepare the Romaine lettuce by thoroughly washing and drying it, then tearing or chopping the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  • Wash the tomatoes and slice them in half or into quarters.
  • Gently crumble the feta cheese into bite-sized pieces.
  • Rinse the fresh herbs and finely chop the parsley, basil, and oregano.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the prepared Romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and chopped fresh herbs.
  • Drizzle the salad with a high-quality extra virgin olive oil and a splash of red wine vinegar or lemon juice.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • Cover the salad bowl and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Just before serving, give the salad a final toss and enjoy!
