Description

A rich and decadent Millionaire’s Cheesecake featuring a chocolate swirl and a buttery graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar in a bowl. Stir in melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 1/4 cups sugar until smooth. Beat in flour and vanilla extract.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Stir in sour cream and heavy cream.
  7. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup over the top. Swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Pour remaining cream cheese mixture over the chocolate layer. Drizzle remaining chocolate syrup over the top and swirl gently.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  10. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoother chocolate swirl, warm the chocolate syrup slightly.
  • Ensure cream cheese and eggs are at room temperature for best results.
  • A water bath can help prevent cracking, though it’s not strictly necessary for this recipe.
