Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 8 ounces cooked noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in the sesame oil.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
