Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 8 ounces cooked noodles
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the sesame oil.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic and ginger.
- You can substitute ramen noodles or spaghetti for the noodles.
