This one-pot creamy garlic pasta is simple and delicious. You can make it with minimal effort and clean-up.
Ingredients
- Pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine): 8 ounces
- Butter: 4 tablespoons
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Chicken broth or vegetable broth: 3 cups
- Heavy cream: 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- Fresh parsley: For garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Don’t let it brown.
- Pour in the broth.
- Add pasta, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and the liquid is mostly absorbed, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
