Description

This one-pot creamy garlic pasta is simple and delicious. You can make it with minimal effort and clean-up.

Ingredients

  • Pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine): 8 ounces
  • Butter: 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Chicken broth or vegetable broth: 3 cups
  • Heavy cream: 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
  • Salt and pepper: To taste
  • Fresh parsley: For garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Don’t let it brown.
  3. Pour in the broth.
  4. Add pasta, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and the liquid is mostly absorbed, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of garlic to your preference.
  • You can add cooked chicken or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrients.
  • For a spicier pasta, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
