Ingredients
- 1 pound sea scallops, patted dry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the scallops very dry.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper.
- Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Add butter and garlic to the skillet.
- Spoon the garlic butter over the scallops.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Serve immediately.
