Description
A classic pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream, perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust on a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, heavy cream, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack.
- Serve chilled with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

- For a homemade crust, prepare your favorite recipe.
- Ensure pumpkin puree is not pumpkin pie filling.
- Chill the pie for at least 2 hours before serving.
