Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into tender-sized strips.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Add the chicken tender strips to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Cook the chicken tenders: You can grill, pan-sear, or bake them.
- Grilling: Grill over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- Pan-searing: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with a side of Greek salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
