Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Do not let it burn.
- Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley (and dill, if using). Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the garlic lemon butter sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve immediately.
