Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  6. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Do not let it burn.
  7. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley (and dill, if using). Season with salt and pepper.
