Delicious bars with a buttery crust, sweet apple filling, salted caramel, and a crunchy crumble topping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press half into the pan.
- Toss apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples.
- Mix the remaining crust mixture with oats. Sprinkle over the caramel.
- Bake for 40 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use cold butter for a flaky crust.
- Adjust caramel sweetness to taste.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
