Delicious bars with a buttery crust, sweet apple filling, salted caramel, and a crunchy crumble topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press half into the pan.
  3. Toss apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread over the crust.
  4. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  5. Mix the remaining crust mixture with oats. Sprinkle over the caramel.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Use cold butter for a flaky crust.
  • Adjust caramel sweetness to taste.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
