Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel rods or twists
  • 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Break pretzel rods into bite-sized pieces or use pretzel twists. Spread them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel candies and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon sea salt into the melted caramel.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the pretzels, ensuring they are well coated.
