  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion until browned. Drain off excess fat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
