Description
A simple and flavorful Thanksgiving dinner cooked entirely on a single sheet pan. This recipe makes preparing your holiday feast quick and easy, with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey breast (about 3-4 lbs)
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 lb red potatoes, cubed
- 1 large onion, cut into wedges
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, and onion with olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the vegetables in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Place the turkey breast on top of the vegetables. Season the turkey with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 50-60 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C) and the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before carving.
- Serve the turkey with the roasted vegetables.
Notes
- You can add other fall vegetables like carrots or butternut squash.
- For extra flavor, add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and thyme to the pan while roasting.
- Ensure the turkey breast is not too thick; if it is, you may need to adjust cooking time.
