Description

Easy chicken and rice slow cooker bowl recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.
  2. Add rice, chicken broth, onion, soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  4. Shred chicken with two forks.
  5. Stir chicken back into the slow cooker.
  6. Serve.
