Quick and easy honey garlic chicken bites perfect for a simple dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
- Stir to coat the chicken evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
