Tender and flavorful BBQ chicken made easy in a slow cooker. Perfect for family gatherings and busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve on buns or as desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear the chicken before slow cooking.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
