Tender chicken and mushrooms slow-cooked in a flavorful garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts: 4
  • Mushrooms: 1 pound
  • Garlic: 6 cloves, minced
  • Chicken broth: 1 cup
  • Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan. Sear chicken briefly.
  3. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  4. Add mushrooms, garlic, chicken broth, and soy sauce.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Mix cornstarch with a little water.
  7. Stir cornstarch mixture into the sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
