Ingredients

  • 6-8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear chicken thighs until browned.
  3. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  4. Add onion and garlic to the slow cooker.
  5. Pour in chicken broth.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Remove chicken. Whisk flour into the juices in the slow cooker.
  8. Cook on high until gravy thickens.
  9. Stir in heavy cream.
  10. Return chicken to the slow cooker.
  11. Garnish with parsley.
