These spicy tandoori chicken bites are flavorful and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (or more, to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger paste, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Adjust the amount of red chili powder to your spice preference.
- Serve with rice, naan, or a side salad.
